1. Professor : At least 10 years teaching / research / industrial experience of which 5 years should be at the level of Associate / Assistant Professor, Pay Scale : Rs.18400 – 500 – 22400/-
2. Associate Professor : At least 8 years teaching / research / industrial experience of which 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor, Pay Scale : Rs.16400 – 450 – 20000/-
3. Assistant Professor : At least 3 years teaching / research / industrial experience, Pay Scale : Rs.12000 – 420 – 18300/-

Qualification : Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at all the preceding degrees in appropriate branch and evidence of the ability to pursue independent high quality research
